I got a great chain mail for you… read on:

There’s this really cool chick called Ellie who has a fantastic blog. If you do not view her blog she will appear in the middle of your night and start playing Justin Bieber really loud in your ear. View her blog now before it’s too late!

Okay so I forgot to say about my Sandhurst inspired tutorial. Sandhurst was rainy and grey. I know. BAD TIMES. Anyway, it did inspire me for a metallic make-up look so that will be up soon.

Another thing, people have been on at me to do some posts for ethnic skin so if you think that’s a good idea… let me know. And ask your boyfriends, boy-friends, boy family etc. if they want more stuff on here for their boyish beauty needs.

PLEASE let me know if you have any great ideas or requests for me – I will be happy to oblige.

Dry Skin Corner.

Ok, testing out a sample of St. Ives fresh skin invigorating apricot scrub I thought I would post a post on dry skin as my skin is dryer than a lizards armpit. First point, if your skin is dry don’t use the scrub I listed above. After using it, my forehead was VERY ITCHY and felt irritated. I wouldn’t say my skin is particularly that sensitive so i’m sure it’s just not great for dry skin – it’s definitely not tailored specifically for is as it listed ‘for normal skin’. The best ex foliating scrub out there is Superdrug’s own brand Simply Pure. I can’t see the scrub advertised on their website so to buy it I would pop into the store.

Clarins Hydra Quench Rich Cream.,en_GB,pd.html?start=24&cgid=220

At £33.50, it’s rather pricey but so worth it! My forehead flakes like tree bark but this cream is super moisturising and after a good session with an exfoliating scrub, this keeps my skin super soft, for super long. If you are worried that it will be too rich for you, opt for the Hydra Quench Cream. Just as good but not as intense.,en_GB,pd.html?start=24&cgid=220

Boots Traditional Glycerin and Rosewater.

Rosewater is a FANTASTIC toner and this boots own brand is a steal at £2.32. It’s so refreshing, non-irritating and moisturises your skin perfectly. Smells pretty good too 🙂

Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque.

If you don’t mind splurging on a fantastic treatment this Dermalogica mask for £31.00 is just the thing but if you’re like me and are quite hesitant to splash the cash, try Montage Jeunesse Dry Skin Moisturising Mask which is priced at £1.49 each and come in handy little sachets so you’re not applying too little or too much.

(Montage Jeunesse sachets scare me (look at the website) so if your reluctant to use them or dislike sachets try Naked Skin Bare Faced Cheek Softening Face Wash as a 3 minute wash off mask. Priced a £2.24 on superdrug.

Super softening and contains no nasties.)

Nivea Visage Day Cleansing Cream Wash.

Cheap as chips for £2.09 and laaaavely for dry skin. Leave quite a bit on for at least 60 seconds for a more intense cleanse with extra moisture.

I hope you liked this post – let me know and I might do ones for other skin types: oily, problem, combination – you name it, i’ll do it. Oh, and i’ll test them on people with the specific skin type for fairer results 😉
